The bed & breakfast is a Victorian building, approximately 150 years old. We are a private home run by husband & wife with 5 guest rooms, we hope we offer a level of comfort that will exceed your expectations and at highly competitive prices.

A 5-minute walk from Shanklin's seafront, the refurbished Richmond Bed & Breakfast offers adults only accommodation with free parking and WiFi. With a full breakfast menu, The Richmond is a 6-minute walk from the woodland gorge, Shanklin Chine.

Each guest room has an en suite shower, with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. There is a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities in all rooms.

A full English and vegetarian breakfast is served, along with alternatives including egg and bacon muffins. There are cereals, muesli, toast and marmalade and fresh tea and coffee.

The Richmond Bed & Breakfast is a 2-minute walk from Shanklin’s town centre shops. Shanklin Train Station is an 8-minute walk, and takes you directly to nearby Sandown and the north of the island.

    Poor Carvery on this occasion. Stone cold mash and watery cauliflower cheese (not even grilled to finish). Shame. Think it was because the chef was clocking off at 4pm so we had the 'dump & run' :(
