Surrounded by forest and wonderful mature gardens and adjacent to Bonnie Beach this historic property and former cherry orchard offers two spacious, well-appointed and comfortable self-contained cottages situated beneath the canopy of giant pine trees and oak trees, some of which are more than150 years old. Nestled on the banks of the Tamar River, Tamar River Retreat offers self-contained cottages with a fully equipped kitchen. All cottages feature lovely garden and river views and a free breakfast hamper.

Tamar River Cottages is within an 8-minute drive of both Lavender House and Holm Oak Vineyards. It is a 20-minute drive from Seahorse World and a 40-minute drive from Launceston city centre.

All air-conditioned cottages feature a dining and lounge area with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. They have ironing facilities and an en suite bathroom. Guests enjoy an outdoor dining area and a BBQ.

The retreat offers a range of onsite clinical hypnotherapy services. Guests can relax outdoors on the terrace, set amongst the lovely gardens, or enjoy a hike. Free laundry and ironing facilities are provided.
