James Place Inn was originally built in 1890. Fully renovated and converted to an inn in 1997, it maintains all of the charm and character of its original state. The floors are a beautiful honey maple and the woodwork and staircase are original. Designed in the Victorian style, it has all of the modern features and amenities.

Located in central Freeport, this Victorian-style bed and breakfast features a full homemade breakfast served every morning. The L.L. Bean Flagship store is 5 minutes’ walk away.

Each individually decorated guest room at James Place Inn Bed and Breakfast boasts cable TV with DVD player and an en suite bathroom. Some rooms have a spa bath tub.
