Devereaux Shields House is ideally located in the heart of the Natchez historic district and offers discerning guests an exceptional “Victorian Southern Comfort” getaway experience that reflects a thoughtful balance of history, comfort, luxury and affordability. Guests may choose between several lodging options from two 2-room luxurious king suites in our Main House, a c1893 Queen Anne Victorian, to 3 rooms and a suite in our gracious Aunt Clara’s Cottage, a charming pet-friendly 1870's Victorian that includes 2 queen bed rooms, a superior king room and a spacious 2-room king suite. Guests are welcomed to our bed and breakfast and to Natchez at checkin. Each morning guests enjoy a three-course Southern breakfast, as well as wine and cheese welcome receptions most afternoons. Relaxation, romance and adventure packages are available. Concierge services are available to help guests enjoy guided or self-guided tours.

Devereaux Shields House offers 2 lodging options: the Main House, and the pet-friendly Aunt Clara’s Cottage just a few doors away. The Main House is comprised of the Gallery Suite and the Rose Suite, while Aunt Clara's Cottage is home to the Louise, Alice, Elmo and Victoria rooms. Both homes are child-friendly and feature gardens and porches. Guests are welcomed to complimentary wine at select local restaurants, and lemonade, tea and snacks in the afternoon.

Free WiFi, a cable TV, and a seating area are featured in each antique-furnished room. The en suite bathroom includes a shower and tub.

Devereaux Shields House features manicured gardens with a terrace, fountains, seating areas and paths to stroll. Massages with music and aroma therapy are available upon request for a fee.

A full 3-course Southern breakfast is served in the Aunt Clara’s Cottage dining room. Special diets can be accommodated, and packed lunch or dinners are available for a fee. Free parking is available.
