Only a 1-minute walk from Takamagahara Mammoth Ski Resort, Hotel Takimoto offers Japanese and Western-style rooms with mountain views. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and guests can relax at the public hot-spring baths after a long day of skiing. Guests can take a 50-minute public bus ride from Yudanaka Train Station to Takamagahara Bus Stop, which is a 3-minute walk away.

The non-smoking rooms feature heating facilities, a TV and a private toilet. Japanese Yukata robes and toothbrush sets are provided for all guests. Bathrooms are shared. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Western-style beds or in rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding.

Takimoto Hotel is a 30-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park and a 5-minute drive from Shiga Kogen Sun Valley Ski Resort.

Ski equipment rentals and ski school courses are available on site at an additional charge, and guests can sit by the fireplace at the lobby. Free parking is on-site.

Featuring a chicken or pork as main dish, a course dinner consisting of 6 dishes is served at the property. Guests can request a dinner course featuring less volume or an upgraded course dinner for an additional fee with locally grown wagyu beef main dish. A set menu or buffet is available for breakfast. All meals feature local ingredients and are served at the dining room.
