This property is well known in the local area due to it's unusual name and because it was a pub until 1997. We have been renovating and restoring the property since 2007 and continue to do so. We have also been to the local archive centre to research the previous land lords & ladies and general history. A folder is available in the guest dining room for guests to read through and it is a popular story at breakfast time.

Situated in a rural village, surrounded by countryside, Quiet Woman House offers family-run bed and breakfast accommodation in the village of Halstock. The property is just 7 miles south of Yeovil on the Dorset/Somerset border and within a 35-minute drive of the Jurassic Coast.

The 3 well-equipped en suite rooms have Freeview TV. The rooms offer storage space, tea / coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries.

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate, and is served at individual tables in the spacious dining room. Free WiFi is available and there is a good-size car park and comfy guest lounge.

Quiet Woman House is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is accessible via country lanes, just off the A37 between Yeovil and Dorchester. Restaurants, pubs and shops are all located within a 10-minute drive of the property.
