Somerset Bed and Breakfast is the ONLY waterfront accommodation in Niagara on the Lake and is located directly on Lake Ontario. This 8,000 sq ft B&B is on the site of the former Queens Royal Hotel in Historic NOTL. We are within walking distance to Old Town and just 2 doors from the oldest Golf course in North America. Renovated in 2016, Somerset is decorated in a very “Modern Cozy” manner, and we provide a formal sit down breakfast.
Whether you are coming in for a romantic weekend, an anniversary, perhaps wine tours, theater or golf, your host Julie Reid can make all your wishes come true. From dinner reservations, tee times, a carriage ride or bike tours through the wineries, we will do everything to make your stay most memorable and effortless.

Somerset Bed and Breakfast has redefined the B&B experience. Located directly on Lake Ontario at the mouth of the Niagara River, Somerset caters to a very distinguished clientele. Offering three spacious suites all overlooking Toronto, the United States and Lake Ontario.

Here your host will prepare you a gourmet style breakfast and whether you are joining us for a romantic weekend, an anniversary, or a cultural experience, we will take care of everything from your dinner reservations, Shaw tickets, a carriage ride, or a bike tour through the wineries. Under original ownership since 1989, with Somerset it is not just a place to stay but a lasting memory.

We are located just two beautiful blocks from Queen Street, 3 doors from the golf course, steps away from the famous Shaw theatre, Fort George is right around the corner and a stunning 20 minute drive will land you at Niagara Falls.
