It is vey Peaceful. We are located in the bucolic village of East Marion. This bedroom community of Greenport is idyllic and pastoral. the house though it is on the Main Road has a large backyard garden for contemplation and relaxation.
The house was built circa 1790 and was once owned by a ship's captain. Captain Vail and his family were very prominent and influential in America. We have met some of their descendants Captain Vail is buried in the East Marion cemetery nearby..
