This waterfront property, next to the working fishing wharves and boats gives you a true Maritime feel. The original house owner, Capt Thomas Townsend sailed his schooner the Florence Abbott to and from the Caribbean Islands around the turn of the century when sail was the main method of transportation . His vessel would be berthed at the wharf just below the house.

Joseph "Dody" Bagnell, the innkeeper's father, was a lobster and crab fisherman for 50 years and raised his family of 5 in this house beginning in the late 1960's.

This century-old former sea captain’s house is situated on the waterfront, overlooking a working fishing wharf. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is included at no extra cost.
