We moved into Sharamore House in 1993. At that time it was about 1000 square feet and in need of extensive renovation, we liked the area its close enough to Clifden but away from the noise. Since then we have added about 4000 square feet to the house purpose built for bed and breakfast.

Sharamore House B&B is just 5 minutes’ drive from Clifden restaurants and bars, and 10 minutes from Connemara National Park, Omey Island, and Kylemore Abbey, where guests enjoy discounted entry tickets.

All rooms feature en suite bathrooms and free WiFi is available throughout.

A La Carte Breakfast at Sharamore includes pancakes, the full Irish, fresh fruit and is included in the rate.

Guests can make use of complimentary maps to discover Connemara.
