Glentower Lower Observatory is a B Listed Historic Building that was originaly built in 1889 as a Weather Observatory connected to the Higher Observatory on the top of Ben Nevis now being ran as a Luxury Guest House by Trevor and Catriona since 2004

Glentower Lower Observatory offers bed and breakfast accommodation with stunning views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills. The centre of Fort William is only 5 minutes’ walk away.

A wide-ranging breakfast menu is served in the dining room, with views over the serene garden. Cooked and continental options are available, and guests can also enjoy traditional Scottish porridge.

Rooms at Glentower all have carpeted floors and a flat-screen TV. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building, and free private parking on site.

Fort William is perfect for walkers and cyclists wishing to explore the picturesque surroundings. Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom, can be reached in 20 minutes’ drive.
