The Silent Picket is a former farmhouse in the middle of the Somme Battlefields. It was built in the 1920's as part of the reconstruction after World War 1.
We undertook a complete renovation but have kept all the original features that make the Silent Picket so special.
This is now a peaceful and tranquil spot ideal for some quiet relaxation.

The Silent Picket is located in Martinpuich, in the heart of the Somme Battlefields. Several World War I sites including Pozières, Thiepval Memorial and the Fricourt German Cemetery can be found within 9 km of the property.

Every room is fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer.

A four-course dinner is available upon request and for an extra charge. Tours of the Somme Battlefields can also be arranged.
