Built in 1719 The Garrison Of Inversnaid is just one of four built in Scotland at this time following the 1st Jacobite rebellion of 1715 and was built by the British Redcoats. Now it is a traditional hill croft or small holding and boasts home grown and reared produce which is included in the dinners, lunches and breakfasts which can be provided here. The 2 rooms are self contained studio ensuite apartments set within a recently renovated byre (barn) and each room has a kitchenette, free wifi, flat screen tv with freeview, toiletries, towels & linen pre made up, cakes upon arrival. Set in an elevated position over looking the 4 sisters of the Arrochar mountain range. Farm tours are available to guests where they can meet the animals and see how their food is produced.
