On a stroll from the port into town, Janne discovered a grand old lady of a house dating from the seventheenth century, but so delapidated she didn't know which way to fall down. He immediately recognized her charm and potential and after 18 months hard work, she has been returned to her former glory. Locals are thrilled to see that Janne has retained the old tiles and shutters, exposed fireplaces hidden behind rotting plasterboard and a well in the courtyard dating from the twelfth century. This achievement was recognized by the town of Marseillan when the mayor offically opened the chambres d'hôtes at Rue Galilée at a ribbon cutting event.
But boutique hotel chic and comfort abounds with five ensuite bedrooms where the Carpe Diem beds will ensure a great night's sleep. All rooms are airconditioned and provide a cool welcome against the summer heat, but this guest house is equally cosy in the winter. A generous breakfast buffet is available and Anita is always happy to provide a picnic basket lunch for guests if they would like. There is an inviting bar available to guests and friends, an intimate conference room with seating for 24 and fast internet available to all guests.

Rue Galilee offers B&B accommodation in the centre of Marseillan. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar and rent bicycles on site. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.
