The farmhouse is rich in history, the evidence is its proximity to the river Rubicon whose name comes from Ruby thanks to the typical reddish earth that mixing with the water giving it a ruby color. The Rubicon, a small river, was the border between Italy and Cisalpine Gaul, well known thanks to Julius Caesar who crossed it in 49 BC with half legion of veterans (about 1,800 men), where he pronounced the famous "Alea iacta est" - "The die is cast", becoming the enemy of Rome giving so began the first civil war.
