!Khwa ttu is an ideal location from which to explore the Cape West Coast of South Africa – with comfortable guest houses, camps, roaring fires and good food to welcome you home after your day of travel and adventure.

Tucked away on the West Coast, 15 km from Yzerfontein, !Khwa ttu is the only heritage and education centre dedicated to the San of Southern Africa. Its award winning museum was opened in 2018. Guests can experience authentic interactions, cultural tours, art and exhibitions.

!Khwa ttu has tented camps and stylishly furnished holiday cottages with spacious en suite bathrooms, dining areas with cosy fireplaces and private wooden decks and panoramic views. The rooms have low-energy appliances and are furnished in natural tones. Free WiFi is available.

The restaurant is open for breakfast and throughout the day until 4.00 pm. Special request baskets can be ordered for the evening.
Guests can learn about the culture of the San people on guided tours, offered daily for a fee. Active nature lovers are spoilt for choice for walking, running and biking trails.

The West Coast National Park is a 15 minute drive away. !Khwa ttu has a gift shop, selling San art and crafts.
