Gavalier Design Rooms is located in a renovated historic building Joergesov dom in the center of Banska Stiavnica. Joergesov dom was built in the 16th century in the renaissance period. In the building, in adition to accommodation is a cafe with a wide range of excellent desserts from the own production, confectionary manufactory, large patio suitable for summer furniture, mining gallery. One of the residents of the house was typographer Joerges that there had also set up a workshop. The actress Emília Vášárová, significant member of the Slovak National Theatre, was born here. Although the building is situated in the center of the action, thanks to its thick walls ensures its clients a quiet peaceful environment.
