The Artist's Residence Dublin is a large detached 1920s cottage with large gardens overlooking the sea and Dublin Bay. It is 20 minutes drive from city centre and 17 minutes from the airport. It boasts individually decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi, comfortable furnishings, restored antique furniture original to the house, and quirky artwork. The entire house and gardens have been recently refurbished using traditional materials and modern conveniences still retaining some art-deco features. All three rooms come with modern en-suite bathrooms. There is a common room with a television and a wood-burning stove. We are close to places of great historical interest, Howth Castle, martelo towers, Howth Dolmens, St Anne's Park, Malahide village and the home of Bram Stoker, author of Dracula, in Clontarf, as well as award winning restaurants, bars, cafés and the picturesque fishing villages of Howth and Malahide. We are minutes away from “Ireland’s best kept secret” according to one of our guests; the cliffs of Howth.
