The homestead was built in the 1920's (in the Edwardian style). It was relocated from Canterbury (Melbourne) to Summerhill Farm. While not slick and sophisticated, its air of faded traditional country will appeal to people with a sense of history and an appreciation of old-style decoration.
The Cottage (also relocated) dates from the 1950's. It still has many original fittings, and yes, in the best vintage manner, it is a little worn around the edges. It also boasts the three "c's" - clean, comfortable and convenient. You can add "cosy" and "country" to that list.

A working alpaca stud situated on 10 acres, Summerhill Farm is just 75 minutes’ drive from Melbourne in the hinterland of the Mornington Peninsula. Continental breakfast is provided.

Summerhill Farm B&B is within 15 minutes' drive of local wineries, cafes, boutiques, fromageries, breweries, markets, national parks, beaches, hot springs and mazes. It is 15 minutes' drive from Tree Surfing Australia High Ropes Course and 75 minutes’ drive from Melbourne.

All accommodation features a TV, DVD player, air-conditioning, dining area and garden views. The private cottage has small terrace with barbecue facilities, a kitchenette and a wood fireplace.

Guests may see alpacas, chicken, geese and ponies roaming the property.

Pets are allowed in the Blue Cottage by request. Pets cannot be accommodated in the Edwardian Suite.
