The house was built in 1997, in 2009 we began plans to convert our garage into two En-Suite guest rooms with a separate entrance. In 2011 after the completion of the building work we began my dream of running a Bed and Breakfast.

Sunset House B&B is found just outside the Cumbrian market town of Penrith, and less than 20 minutes’ drive from the Lake District National Park. It offers comfortable accommodation in a pretty, traditional cottage.

The Sunset serves an excellent breakfast, with produce sourced from a local farm. Guests can enjoy a cooked breakfast delivered to the comfort of their room.

Spacious rooms have en suite showers and are located on ground-floor level, looking out over the garden and fields beyond. You will find tea and coffee facilities in each room, along with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.
Newton Reigny is a small, rural village around 7 minutes’ drive from Penrith, which was once Cumbria’s capital.

The town has a rich history, with Brougham Castle dating back to the 13th century, and Penrith Beacon high above the town, looking out over the Lakeland hills.

This property now features an electric car charger.
