Our 1860 "National Register of Historic Places" Plantation house sits on 20 acres just outside the charming art and entertainment center of Chestertown, Maryland. Brampton was built in two stages. The oldest part in 1830 and the larger newer wing in 1860. The manor house has 5 guest rooms and two suites. Many of the original buildings have been renovated and are housing luxurious guest cottages. In the morning we offer an a-la-carte breakfast and in the afternoon refreshments between 4 and 5 pm. We are open all year.
This 19th century estate is located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and features lush gardens, outdoor seating, and a large wrap-around terrace with ceiling fans. Chestertown centre is 2 miles away.
Each uniquely decorated guest room at Brampton Bed and Breakfast Inn boasts an en suite bathroom with plush bathrobes and luxury toiletries. A flat-screen TV with DVD player is included.
A full breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients is served every morning, with a menu that changes daily. Afternoon refreshments are served buffet style in the dining room.
