Morocco first grabbed me back in 2001 - and I have loved being in the country ever since. My brother has been visiting for many many more years than I. Marrakech has a magic all to itself and one of the most beautiful surrounding geographical environments I have ever seen anywhere in the world. We bought the riad in 2005 and have been loving it ever since. It has a special calm and tranquillity that I have never felt anywhere else before. We created Riad Tizwa as somewhere that we would like to visit... No fixed times for breakfast, staff on hand - but not over bearing and a beautiful display of the best of the best of Moroccan crafts within the spectacular simplicity of a historic house.

Riad Tizwa is one of the few riads in Marrakech that has had a very sympathetic renovation rather than a total destruction and rebuild - which means that it has maintained its true sense and beauty whilst incorporating the boutique feel expected from the discerning travellers. We are both very proud of Riad Tizwa being one of the first riads to have been recognised as an environmental hotel.

Located in the medina, Riad Tizwa Marrakech is only a 10-minute walk from Jamaâ El Fna Square and has a rooftop terrace with sun beds. A traditional breakfast is included and you can relax in the hammam.

The air-conditioned guest rooms all have a view of the central patio and are decorated in a traditional style. Free Wi-Fi is provided and some of the rooms feature a seating area with a sofa.

Breakfast can be taken on the terrace, and typical Moroccan meals can be prepared for dinner upon request. Additional services include the organisation of tours, excursions and transfers.

Medersa Ben Youssef Museum is a 10-minute walk from this property and Marrakech Menara Airport is only 7.5 km away.
