Torwood is a Victorian house which I have renovated over the years, endeavouring to keep as much of the original features as possible, it is a house with character which has been lovingly restored faults and all.

This modernised Victorian home is now a 4-star guest house a 5-minute stroll from the beach at Penzance and 3 miles from St Michael’s Mount. Torwood House offers secure storage for cyclists, free Wi-Fi and free on-street parking.

Each room at Torwood comes with an en suite bathroom and all are individually designed in light tones. A flat-screen TV and DVD player are included, as well as complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee-making facilities.

The guest house is only 5 minutes’ stroll from Penzance beach and 10 minutes on foot from the centre of the town. Penzance is home to many pubs and restaurants serving seafood fresh from the harbour. Torwood offers Continental and cooked breakfasts each morning.

The famous clifftop theatre The Minack is only 8 miles from the property, and Land’s End is only a 20-minute drive away. Penzance Railway Station is 20 minutes away on foot and provides connections to Truro and beyond. Guests can hire bikes from the Torwood House.
