Geckos Rest is a three story Victorian style town house. It has been run as a Bed and Breakfast for at least seventy years. Since moving in we have carried out lots of upgrades including making all the rooms’ en-suite. We have also worked hard and improved the rooms to achieve a four star silver rating from Visit England.

Located on Mount Wise, a 5-minute walk from the beach, the 4-star Geckos Rest offers free Wi-Fi and limited free parking on site. The centre of Newquay is just 3 minutes’ walk away.

All rooms are en-suite, come with a digital TV and a hairdryer, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Guests can enjoy the guest lounge which offers views looking out to sea and Newquay.

Breakfast is provided each morning in the dining room at Gecko’s Rest. You can enjoy a full cooked breakfast, a vegetarian alternative and a choice of lighter options.

There are a range of beaches nearby, and ample opportunities for surfing. Newquay Airport is 6 miles away, and the award-winning Newquay Zoo is just a mile from the building.
