Dar Al Bahar is certainly the name it deserves: the house by the sea.
Built on the ramparts of the city of Essaouira in the "San Dion" district, she faces the ocean and its trade winds. From the terrace the view is one of constant movement.

Built on Essaouira’s ancient city ramparts and offering a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the ocean and the medina, this traditional Moroccan hotel offers en suite rooms and a guest lounge.

Each guest room at Dar Al Bahar is colourful and decorated with Moroccan tiles and furniture. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a bathtub or shower and some have views of the ocean.

A continental breakfast is served each morning at the hotel. Other meals can be organised upon request and enjoyed in the hotel’s dining room with an arched stone ceiling or on the rooftop terrace.

In the evening, guests are invited to relax in the hotel’s lounge where free Wi-Fi internet access is available.

Shooting of the third season of Game of Thrones, a famous TV show, have taken place outside Dar Al Bahar, which is situated in the medina of Essaouira. It is just 200 metres from the Mohammed Ben Abdellah Museum and Essaouira Airport is 14.7 km away.
