Just a few minutes’ drive south from the historical centre of Florence, on the “Aretina”, the ancient Roman consular road connecting Florence to Arezzo, is where Villa Favard lies, steeped in the green of a beatiful Renaissance park, inside which is our Bed and Breakfast.

Villa Favard once belonged to Baroness Fiorella Favard de L’Anglade, in the second half of the 19th Century.

Since 1946, it has hosted a high quality weaving crafts workshop, created by the Countess Maria Antonietta di Frassineto in order to continue the Florentine tradition of the interior decoration fabrics, according to the ancient Renaissance art of hand weaving.

The six rooms of our Bed and Breakfast – Impruneta, Villamagna, Ponte Vecchio, Il Poggetto, Villa Palmieri and Bargello – are each named after the kind of fabric they are decorated with.

Surrounded by the Villa Favard Park, Rovezzano B&B is a rustic property located in the Rovezzano area, a 10-minute drive from Florence’s historic centre. It offers a garden with swimming pool.

Air-conditioned rooms are simply furnished and wood-beamed ceilings and antique furniture. Facilities include free WiFi, a TV, fan and a private bathroom with shower. Some of them come with views of the garden and others with views of the courtyard.

You can relax on the hotel’s furnished terrace or in the common lounge with TV, fireplace and pool table. The pool is equipped with sun loungers and parasols, and a common kitchen is also available.

Offering free private parking, B&B Rovezzano is next to a stop of bus n.14 going to Florence’s centre. A supermarket, bars and a bakery are available nearby.

    Enoteca immensa, con pareti piene zeppe di ottimi vini anche da asporto. Lezioni/aperitivo enologiche molto interessanti e cibo eccellente. Il giovedì fanno cene degustazione a tema, da provare!! ;-)
