There is plenty of fresh air, surrounded by farmland and embellished with colourful flowers, guests can eat from one of the many local eateries that offer an extensive takeaway service or enjoy their own BBQ. Relax under one of the many sun umbrellas or enjoy some of the many local attractions including Gliding, Hiking (Hunia Falls) or take a 30 minute trip to the beach. Many guests take the opportunity to visit Hobbiton (Matamata) or the Waitomo Caves. Others use the train to access Auckland Central and enjoy the hassle free train trip and relax on the deck, in the large spacious lounge with a large screen TV,or in their spacious and modern rooms, taking in the fresh air and farm and garden views in a very private setting.

You can dine at Murphy's Pub, which has food and live entertainment or order a pizza, Chinese and hot road dinners from a number of take-away outlets nearby.

There are a range of local activities to enjoy such as golfing and cycling. This bed and breakfast also offers free use of bicycles and is close to local bush walks/hiking areas, including waterfalls, swimming holes and picnic spots. Camper van and caravan parking is available.
