Blaisdon is a small village set in the heart of the Gloucestshire countryside, central to Gloucester, Cheltenham and Ross on Wye. It boasts a 12th Century Church and an ancient pub called The Red Hart which has log fires, pub quizzes and good home made food. There are plenty of footpaths around the wonderful terrain that surrounds the village including the original Mugglewort wood. Blaisdon House dates back to the 12th Century and for centuries was the local vicarage. It has been re-modelled many times over the years, the last time back in 1847. It ceased being a vicarage in the late 1930's.
My wife and I have just finishing renovating the property so all the rooms have en-suites with powerful showers and USB charging points. There is a large drawing room with an open fire and an honesty bar for our guests to relax in. We offer a hearty breakfast in the dining room, or you can have a continental breakfast delivered to your bedroom door. We offer free parking and wifi. With locked outbuidlings we can store bikes, wet boots etc. We live in a separate part of the building so you would not feel we are all on top of each other.

The village is set on the edge of the Royal Forest of Dean which has a wide range of activities and lots of footpaths for walking and cycling.
