The Den at Backwell Down

Rated 9.8 in 70 reviews. 1 rooms.

Originally the servants quarters to Backwell Down Manor The Den has undergone many transformations and uses. From offices to a children's play room, The Den has seen it all since the house was built in 1906. Now lovingly and tastefully restored and converted it offers gloriously intimate, totally unique and stylish bed and breakfast accommodation. Nestled in the village of Backwell, and within its own 36 acres of stunning parkland and gardens, it's a perfect spot for a few days away. Brunel or Banksy, whatever your preference, the vibrant city of Bristol, just 6 miles away, has plenty to offer. Alternatively, for the less energetic visitor, just relax and chill out by the pool, stroll through the gardens and woodlands and enjoy wonderful locally sourced food at our friendly pub, just a few minutes walk away.
My goal was clear from the outset. As a frequent and choosy traveller myself i wanted to create a place where my guests can unwind and enjoy all the comforts of home life, in their own luxurious and ultra private space, so why not leave your worries, laundry and dishes behind you and come and relax in my beautiful home?

The apartment has a flat-screen TV and DVD player. There is a seating area to relax in after a busy day and tea/coffee making facilities. For your comfort, you will find bathrobes and White Company toiletries.
