The Delano Homestead was in FDR's family for nearly 120 years. It was built by his great-grandfather, owned by his grandfather, his mother was born here and franklin spent hundreds of says here as a child, young man and visited as president. The house is an example of transitional Federal to Greek Revival Architecture. It has a spacious yards, a green house, an dis surrounded by a granite stone wall.
