Vallebona The Palace was built in 1930 by Antonio Vallebona, originally from Carloforte (San Pietro Island, Sardinia), who moved to Gallipoli, together with his brothers Giuseppe and Egidio.

E 'consists of three floors. On the first floor are the kitchen, a breakfast room, with access to 200 sqm terrace, five rooms, spacious and comfortable.

The second floor is intended for technical rooms and the home of a resident.

On the third floor there is a tower "Belvedere" consisting of two rooms on two different levels. There is also another terrace of about 200 square meters used by all hotel guests, equipped with deckchairs.

The Belvedere was for many years the highest place of Gallipoli, so that is still used as a reference on charts.

The first floor rooms are named after the five sailing ships owned by the family: Adelina, Cesira, Learn, Iolanda, Trieste, used for barter trade goods from Sardinia to Gallipoli and conversely.

Set along the main street in the centre of Gallipoli, Palazzo Vallebona offers spacious rooms with antique furnishings, sea views and a balcony. The property is 80 metres from Gallipoli Train Station.

Rooms are all air conditioned, and have a fridge, a flat-screen TV and a fully fitted private bathroom with a hairdryer, bathrobes and toiletries. Some rooms include a sofa.

Breakfast here is a sweet and savoury buffet including fresh fruit and traditional products. At Palazzo Vallebona a shared lounge and terrace to relax are also available.

The Baia Verde beach is a 10-minute drive away.
