In our family Matosic – one of the oldest families in Split – every line has its own family nickname and ours was Baguc. As this villa is our old family estate, we wanted to honor the tradition and name it by our family line... First mention of the villa was the draft in Italian from 1856 .The object is an old stone house that exudes history. Protected by the Ministry of Culture. Each room has one piece of antique furniture from the house fully restored.
Set in the heart of the Old Town, Bed&Breakfast Vila Baguc is only a 5-minute walk from the UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace. Bačvice Beach can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. The property is set only 200 metres from the seaside.
All rooms and suites are individually decorated with a combination of stone walls and hardwood floors. Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and cable TV come with each accommodation unit. Guests can enjoy views of the Old Town from their rooms.
