Giverny, this tiny village, at the door of Normandy from Paris, stretches out along the river Seine banks and brings together the sights of visit in the center, focused on the Claude Monet’s House and Gardens. More than 600.000 visitors in 7 months, with a peak period in May and June, during which bloom explodes. Attracted by light and by his passion of painting the landscape outdoors, he settled in Giverny. This memorial property is the final resting place of C. Monet until his death in 1926.
