We live in a two story home on acreage, 40 minutes west of Brisbane City. We can offer three bedrooms, two with double beds and their own bathroom, and one smaller bedroom with a single bed. We have a log fire in the lounge room for conversation and relaxing. Our home is air-conditioned. There is a media room with a home theatre set-up to enjoy music or movies. A computer is available in this room for guests to send emails back home. We have an outdoor swimming pool for those hot days & barbecue facilities for those summer evenings. Our home is centrally located for visiting a wide range of areas. There is no public transport so guests would require their own private vehicle or hire car, however we are only 10 minutes from Ipswich City and railway station. Guests could be transferred to or from the rail station if required.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Home in the Country B&B offers accommodation in Barellan Point, 40-minutes’ drive from the Brisbane Central Business District. Ipswich city centre and Ipswich Train Station are just 10-minutes’ drive away.

You will have access to a range of facilities that are shared with other guests as well as the property hosts. These include a shared lounge room with a log fire, and a fully-equipped shared kitchen featuring an oven, microwave and refrigerator. There is also media room with a TV, DVD player and a computer available for guests’ use. Outside, guests can make use of the barbecue facilities, or sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens.

Free WiFi is available in some rooms, and some rooms include a balcony.

Karana Downs Country Golf Club is 14-minutes’ drive from Home in the Country. Ipswich Racecourse is 20-minutes’ drive away.
